Where's my pack of gummy bear?!

HershallCook responds:

Minus one star for not getting a real pack of gummy bears. Understandable. I can live with that.

as annoying as the original. A bilion time faster than the original. as blatantly obnoxious as the original.

Why you call a 2D clone as if it was a parody? If anything, this is an improvement.

Skudge responds:

hahaha thank you, currently waiting for hello games to sue me :^)

didn't know "science" and "panorama" were mispelled...

shajby responds:

Both are correct.

"illegal"
that's all i see and all i can get from your "game"

...when even Unity says that...

Astrosnout responds:

Thanks for pointing out the error. It should be fixed now in case you want to give the game another try.

every time i use the special, I am instantly kicked off the board.
every time i use special at same time as the enemy, i get stuck inside him...
I battled Inori for first, second and third round in the tournament... he cheating?

JackAstral responds:

Using special is pretty risky. It makes you move three times as fast, so if your blade is moving toward the edge of the stadium / was just knocked by an enemy, it's pretty likely it'll fall out. The idea is to activate it when your blade is centered and knocking the enemy toward the edge of the stadium.

Good point with the NPC names and the getting stuck thingy- I'll make sure to fix that up soon!

I became a fairy, got really stubborn with grandma, kicked the shit out of many masked dudes (why can't we go back without killing him?) told Pride he could go to hell (and eventually gave up on life) got a rain of fruits (Lucky me, got this 7 times in a row, but can't win a chance game IRL... ever). Also, I tried many door but they all led to the same ending, except Giddy God's, si I got sad and started over again.
I found the reference for the corridor quite easily... Being who I am (and pissing my pants just remembering the damn thing) it.. kinda made me giggle... nervously. The Mose reference was a given for most christian, still gave me a smile.
Truth be told, until I found how to get to the grandma, I couldn't get past the jungle bit. And... I used your walkthrough for that very bit of jungle. Shame on me.
However there is ONE thing that pisses me off to no end.
it's... how the heck do I get the last 6 achievement? Countryman, Saliva Surfer, Dweller, Resident, Astral and Sormathingy? I have NO Idea whatsoever.
Also, the grandma said the dungeon monster could be killed...? Is she insane? because that's how I got the Death Addict....

You are my hero.

Vilehead responds:

Saliva Surfer - jump into Mouth in sewers.
Sorma'Ksuler - visit every location
Countryman, Dweller, Resident - play for total 1h,3h,6h
Astral Master - Get every other medal

And you are my <3

amazing "Roll a 5, lose a turn" simulator. Rolled over 30 in a row. ended up losing to some CPU...

Hacsev responds:

That's a bit of an exaggeration, now is it? The CPU is hard to beat, I'll give you that, especially if it's your first time playing and are not familiar with the rules. My best against the CPU has been 5 - 2, but I decided that was too hard to accomplish and changed the medal to 5-3. Well, better luck next time!

fun game. Liked it.

Here's some glitches I found.
1, if you time-up while using a bomb and fall on a mole, the game freezes.
2, if you finish the game (get to China) while riding a mole, the game freezes.
3, reloading the game let you re-buy the hat, even though you already have it.

Octopodo responds:

Glad you liked it.
Thanks for putting the bugs in a list! I'll try to address these when I find some time.

First, sorry it took me so long. I moved out of my old appartment and I couldn't manage to get internet in time.

Now on to the review.

Considering the type of game this is, the visual quality is above acceptable. I'd say just about right. Though I do not approuve of the lack in shades and colors. They do fit, however, with the essence of christmas. I consider this a minor detail, it does not affect the game or the gamer.
Audio is lacking. The loop isn't as good as it could be and to tell the truth it sounds way too aggresive. I mean, this WAS for Christmas, right? I don't get why you chose a rave-party-song type of music for a game like this one. I'm not here to judge your taste in music so let's just move on.

We rarely see games of such relaxed gameplay nowaday. Some games play in your stead and you learn nothing. Some games have nothing fun to do or are plain boring. And some are way too slow or fast paced. Yours however does not seem to belong in any of these category. I did not particularly find it fun but it wasn't boring. There is a challenge but there is no real goal.
Gameplay is simple and the game can be picked up easily.

Overall, I don't think this is worth any awards. It does have its charm. I fear it will slowly fade away behind some of the most outstanding games or the "advertiser-hungry" games.
It's not bad, but it might not be good enough to stay afloat.

This is what i want to say. But this game is still alive today, after over 6 months. There's more to it than meets the eye.

happybirthday90 responds:
